Exciting, fun, elegant, precise... all Anna León and Cristian! Come elevate your own tango experience on Saturday, September 14th, from 3-6 PM upstairs at Triangle Dance Studios in Durham.

$30 for one class, $45 for both! No partner needed.

3:00 PM. A Gliding Embrace:
Limitless support and connection come from a comfortable, stable, and consistent embrace. This class teaches how to take care of yourself so you can support the dance relationship with a higher capacity of clear communication.

4:30 PM Motors of Movement:
Cleaning up where linear and circular movement comes from so you can problem solve every step in the future. This class will help you lead, and follow more clearly and precisely.

There will be opportunities to briefly practice after each lesson and ask the instructors poignant questions about the course material.

Cristian Bravo

Over his 32 year tango journey, Cristian has placed and won championships, danced in countless shows, taught tango salon, stage, and master classes all over the world and in prominent schools in Buenos Aires. He is a member of the CID/UNESCO International Dance Council as well as a member of the association of teachers and choreographers of Argentine tango (AMBCTA).

Anna León

Anna León grew up listening to Tango music at her Argentine grandparents’ asados in Los Angeles. When she was 20, she decided Tango was going to be her life, and she apprenticed, lived and studied in Buenos Aires, and taught on tour all over the United States and Canada.

Anna and Cristian started dancing and working together in the fall of ‘22, and placed 1st in Vals and 2nd in Milonga at ATUSA ‘23, and 1st place in all professional categories at the Las Vegas Tango competition in ‘23. She and Cristian opened their school, Virginia Tango, in Richmond later that year.
